We’ve all been through the up’s and down’s of being a teenager either ourselves or with our children, the raging hormones, the confusion, the diminishing confidence, self-esteem and self worth.

Parenthood comes with no instruction manual and many times we can feel at a lost to know what to do and how to do it to help our children, who seem to be growing up so fast.

So when I first heard about Niki Jane Moss Simpson and the work she was doing it made perfect sense. As a teacher she had recognised that academic education was simply not enough to help girls and women to reach their dreams and thrive in this fast paced modern world. Niki had realised that three key points helped to lay the foundations for creating powerful shifts in this world: Self- Love, Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence.

When we sat down to explore which story she would be sharing, I never realised how much my life would change. Hearing her story of her past intermingled with her daughter’s and the bravery that comes through love for another confirmed to me yet again the power that is held within a story and the lives that it can touch.
